Whipped Ricotta Honey Dip with Garlic Herbed Toasts
This dip is an easy and quick appetizer to prepare for guests. The creamy whipped ricotta and sweet honey pair wonderfully with our Dry Rosé of Pinot Noir or Unoaked Chardonnay.
Ingredients
Garlic herbed bread:
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1/4 c. Olive oil
- 1 baguette sliced
- 3-4 Tbsp fresh basil, parsley, and thyme
- 8-10 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)
- salt and pepper (to taste)
Whipped Ricotta Honey Dip:
- 1.75 cups ricotta cheese at room temperature
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- fresh cracked Pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 Cup honey
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1/4 c. Olive oil
- 1 baguette sliced

- salt and pepper (to taste)
Whipped Ricotta Honey Dip:
- 1.75 cups ricotta cheese at room temperature
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- fresh cracked Pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 Cup honey
Instructions
Garlic herbed toasts:
1. In a pan, melt butter and add oil. Add minced garlic and cook on low heat.
2. Once the garlic is fragrant and begins to golden, add herbs & spices, and mix, cooking another 30 seconds on low heat. Turn off and set aside till ready to assemble the toasts.
3. When ready to serve, put the pan on low-medium heat and add slices of bread to the garlic mixture. If mixture is dry, add a bit more olive oil. Pan toast the bread till golden, turning so both sides are evening toasted. Spoon over some of the garlic mixtures on the bread, as needed. Cook in batches till all the garlic mixture is used.
Whipped Ricotta Honey Dip:
1. In a bowl of food processor, add ricotta, pepper, heavy cream, and salt and whirl till super smooth and creamy.
2. Pour a small layer in serving bowl and then layer in some honey and repeat layers till all ricotta mixture is used.
